                                           Streaming Media; No Television

        Is television necessary on today's world? It might not be at all. With technology's improvements and the access of the internet, we can now experience a new method of watching tv programs. The accessibility of watching your favorite show at the time and the speed you want, without having to miss a scene. It can only happen in one way, and all you need is your computer/laptop or even you smart phone. Today, many streaming programs are available online that offer the same programs on tv at a less cost and with better options.  Therefore, is time for changes and adapting ourselves to the new world of technology.

    I agree that it is not necessary to own a television at all. I personally own an Apple TV and don't have a cable box and because Apple TV is connected to the Internet, you don't need anything else. It has Netflix, YoutTube, apps for HBO and Showtime, ESPN and news channels and pretty much anything you would ever need so there is no reason to pay for cable providers anymore. It even has a Disney Channel app. The Internet has changed pretty much everything we do.
